Sofiyyah the Label was born from a very personal place — a mix of love, frustration, and a deep desire to create something meaningful.

As a mum to my baby girl, Sofiyyah, life shifted in the most beautiful way. She reminded me to slow down, to be intentional, and to build something that reflects both softness and strength. In the middle of motherhood, I found myself searching for pieces that made me feel like me again — effortless, modest, and beautiful.

But there was always one problem.

The printed modal hijabs I loved? They were almost always from overseas. Expensive, hard to access, long shipping times… it felt like something so simple was always just out of reach for so many of us here in South Africa.

And that didn’t sit right with me.

So I created what I couldn’t easily have.

Sofiyyah the Label is about bringing those timeless, elevated printed modals closer to home — making them more accessible, more attainable, and just as beautiful. Every piece is thoughtfully chosen with intention, inspired by nature, softness, and femininity, designed to make you feel effortlessly put together — even on the busiest days.

Because I get it.
